Additional Information
Laura Murphy is a board-certified Family Nurse Practitioner who focuses on providing primary healthcare to patients in the pediatric, adult, and geriatric populations. Graduating with honors, she completed her bachelor's and Master of Science in Nursing at Southeast Missouri State University in 2009 and 2012 with a graduate degree focus on family practice.
She holds a certification with the American Nurses Credentialing Center as a Family Nurse Practitioner and is licensed in the state of Missouri.
She is a member of the honor societies Sigma Theta Tau and Phi Kappa Phi.
In addition to primary care, her practice expertise includes disease prevention, health maintenance and treating acute episodic illnesses. She has experience in assessing, diagnosing and treating a multitude of illnesses and conditions, as well as providing well child checks, sports and employment physicals and Certified DOT examinations.
She believes in a patient centered approach to healthcare that provides personalization and assists patients in achieving optimal health.
Who We Are
Debbie Evans is a board-certified Family Nurse Practitioner who focuses on providing healthcare and Holistic health care to her patients.
She believes that integration of these healthcare services is mainstream for the future of healthcare, disease prevention and health maintenance.
She received her Bachelors in Nursing degree in 1991 and worked many years at both local hospitals in Cardiovascular care and local nursing homes providing care to her patients.
Debbie decided to further her love for nursing and completed her Master of Science in Nursing at Southeast Missouri State University in 2004, with a graduate degree as a Family Nurse Practitioner, through ANCC.
She focuses on treating and caring for patients as a "whole" and practices with the mindset of "functional" lab/medicine.
Her areas of specialty are Geriatrics, Thyroid disease management, Diabetes management, Hypertension management, High cholesterol management and treatment of Depression and Anxiety.
